A new NHS dental practice will be opening in Meadows Way, Hadleigh at 11.30am on Monday 20 July 2009.
PALS, the Patient Advice and Liaison Service, is now taking details of patients wanting to register at the new practice, and people are advised to contact them in the first instance on 0800 389 6819.
The Hadleigh Family Dental Practice forms part of NHS Suffolk’s drive to improve access to NHS dentists for everyone in the region. It will be operated by Denticare Ltd and will be opened by Carole Taylor-Brown, chief executive of NHS Suffolk.
Local press and media are invited to attend the opening.
Mrs Taylor-Brown said: “We’re delighted to be opening a new dental practice for the residents of Babergh. Many people don’t realise that in Suffolk dental services are available and accessible – you only need to call PALS to find out where your nearest dentist accepting new patients can be found.”
The opening of the new Hadleigh practice follows the recent opening of a new dental practice in Bury St Edmunds – and is part of an additional investment of £4 million over two years in NHS dentistry made by NHS Suffolk.
New practices are also set to open in Leiston during August and in Rendlesham during late summer.
